I also have a bunch of Endlers that came from FishandFire. Though I've been having the same issue he was once having where I have almost all females. I had some males but they vanished (died). Just last week I had something like 20+ females and no males... however, some of the babies (left over from when the males were alive) are growing out now and I know I will have at least one male.

FishandFire, I've had really good success with micro worms and fry... have your tried them? They are amazingly easy to keep... just mix up a new batch every couple of weeks and they go forever.

I don't know what the water temps are here, but try cooler water (76 degrees) and see if you get more males. Warm water (85 degree) seems to grow larger females and fewer males. I've kept Endlers for years and that's been my experience. Also, when I eased back on the Micro worms the population reduced. Live worms are a must. I use Grindal worms, too.

Right now my two Endler tanks are test tanks for a new food I'm working on. I'm trying a de-hydrated single cell protein additive that's 58% protein and 5% fat. If I can get past the smell I might be on to something. . . . . . . .
